This is one of my quick & cheap family dinners. Jambalaya mix, smoked turkey sausage, extra 1/2 cup of white rice (to stretch to meal), diced onions & bell peppers. First I cut up the sausage, then I sauteed the onions & bell peppers in a little vegetable oil. Next I added all the remaining ingredients and cooked per the instructions.
And even though I don’t have a picture of the finished product (hungry boys waiting) I assure you it was tasty paired with steamed broccoli.
